Namma Mandi

"Namma" is a word that is used as a pronoun, meaning "Our" or "Ours."

For example, "namma ooru" would mean "our town." In a colloquial sense, "namma" can also be used to refer to something that is familiar or belongs to one's own culture, community or tradition.

"Mandi" means "Market".

It is commonly used to refer to a physical place where goods are bought and sold, such as a wholesale or farmers' market. Mandis play an important role in the local economy and are a hub of activity for farmers, traders, and buyers

"Native First ®" is a term that refers to the priority given to native or locally-sourced traditional products, rather than those that are imported or foreign. This emphasis on "Native First" is often driven by a desire to support local communities, preserve traditional cultures, and reduce dependence on imported products.

In practice, "Native First" can refer to a wide range of products, from locally-grown food to locally-made crafts. The goal is to support the preservation and growth of unique local cultures, while also promoting sustainability and reducing the environmental impact of transportation and manufacturing.

Overall, the "Native First" movement is part of a broader trend towards localization, in which we are seeking to build more self-sufficient, resilient communities that are rooted in their local cultures and traditions of INDIA.
